Talking Billy Goat BAAAHHHHH

Alright fellow crawlers I recently picked up this beauty from a friend of mine. Only problem is its missing the electronics and I have no idea where to mount everything. As you can tell I'm still new to this so a little help would go a long ways and be greatly appreciated!!

Cool thanks for the info. Is there any other way of mounting them without adding a bunch of sprung weight to the rig?

This is my Scorpion back in it's Comp days,

Might be kind of hard to see, but I used some servo tape and zip-ties to stick my electronics to the chassis uprights.

Unfortunately, with your tie rod behind the axles like it is, I personally don't think you're going to have much success with fabbing up a battery plate on the front axle.
TCS sells an ESC mounting plate that bolts to the front axle, looks like you might have room for something like that.

Not a bad lookin' rig, IMO.

Nice rig and thanks a lot bud! That's exactly what I needed. I'm thinking a tekin fxr gen 2 will work nicely considering it's so small.

I always liked running the fxr's.. But now running the HH Br mini in mine, I wouldn't go back..
I believe the Br mini is smaller, built for crawling, and the important one.. Cheaper.. Then a fxr.. Unless you already have a fxr.

I ended up going with the trak power ms series brushless system. The ESC is small enough and quite capable according to the specs. Oh and a 21.5T track power motor. $150 for the combo!
