Gotta take the time when you can make it!

Good eye. Yes, I have always used MIPs on any rig I compete with. However, with the light weight of this new chassis, it seems a shame to use driveshafts that are as heavy as the MIPs. I am seriously considering trying the new HD Wildboars. I've read good things about them, and actually have a set in one of my scalers, but haven't driven it hard enough to really test them yet.

i run a modded punisher shaft in the front and a modded wb8 in the rear of my rig ...zero issues a little bit lighter than the mip and no bug lip for rocks to get caught on lol

There's also the SDI Driveshafts with Ti inserts... very small and very tough... helps to get all that extra clearance that you can possibly get...

Ordered a new Holmes Team Puller 500 this morning, can't wait to bolt it into this!

Hey, just a quick question, what are the size of the spacers you are using in that transmission?

The motor plate comes with one, the rest are just the stock spacers that I replaced with aluminum for extra strength. They are Axial part number AX1327 for the gun metal grey ones that I used.

I like that idea, may do it. Who makes the Ti inserts?

I still run the MIP in the front.. It's low, up front, and Indestructible! With a WB in the rear with a CF tube insert..

But... I did just land some SDI shafts and going to throw one on the rear for testing, before I change the front..

Chassis looks Great! Glad to see ya back papa!

I kinda like that idea also, but with one of the new HD WBs. I have had modded regular WBs fail...

Yep, Don does some great work!
I never really left, just haven't had any thread-worthy builds going on until this one. I have to say, this is probably the most excited I've ever been about a build. Can't wait to get the rest of my parts in and get it together.

Fritzthefly is the guy that always makes me mine... you'd just need to figure out measurements for them and you'd be good... I have an extra set of the SDI shafts here that I'm not using if you're interested shoot me a PM...

Just teasing Papa, I know you waited a very long time for me to get it dialed enough to send yours out to you...very long time indeed. We have a few more making their way out to new drivers as well this week finally...one of which left here today.

Back to your regularly scheduled programming

Hey, a guy's gotta make a living too!
But... I got my new axle cases in the mail today, so I can finally start getting those built up now.
