Hi I 'm gone in my workshop and pick up every part I stored since the beginning For chassis conception, I was inspired by my berg TGS evolution with a high ventral angular and front axle fixed on it original parts AX10 axle Wraith hub n Chub XR10 front unniversal set AX10 steel gearbox set voodoos on front, boss claws on rear double deuce CI foam médium on front and soft on rear ESC EZrun 35 A brushless or micro sidewinder Turnigy SK 2826 980KV or Integy 45T Hitec 8385TH 12T 48dp pinion 70T 48p spur gear GT3B CC BEC on command Shocks 130 mm alu lightweight TGS everything else is made by myself :brico3: :mad3: Axle modifications CNC milling beef toobs (drawing and milling homemade) gearbox support and transmission case are in polycarbonate 2 versions are drawing: 1 version brushless outrunner with the 2826 and 1 with 540 motor Motor is high level to be able to have maximum steering, and with voodoos too 6" for an insane steering Chassis support Chassis in 2 parts with alu braces rear axle (drawing, just miss milling but i have too many ideas for this time)) links alu 6 mm rod endsTraxxas Jato rigid shaft 5 mm (ready) delrin bevel gear support (have to turn) to fix wheels 4 hubs 12 mm alu, without hexas 5g by piece and if it needed, some PVC wedge and with his dress @+ Last edited by tgenial58; 02-14-2015 at 10:07 AM. |

Madness is a mild remedy to reality Yes! I keep it up . This chassis is really not like other with his fixed axle. I ran the last year with my 2.2 pro, (the TGS shafty matrix) : I found how to drive it. and each defect has been corrected at the best (last evolutions are not yet on RCC) or almost So I love it The finish line is not very far away, I'll hurry to finish it for testing |

How is the drive transmitted to the rear axle?

Hi It's finished Rear axle is operationnal Bruhsless is not enough strong. So I change it by a 540 brushed integy 45T with a sidewinder 3 (I'll change it to a micro), 13T pinion and 87T spur gear Bec is under servo I rebuild gearbox and motor support in 4mm aluminium A 2mm 3k carbon part maintains bearing ball Lipo support found his place and the bottom I changed rear transmission shaft by a carbon steel, stronger, lighter and new the body support (it's used too to rigidify chassis) and I use shocks in droop mod, with spring on the right side to counteract torque twist effects And I have the honor to present "Creepy Toad" Dimensions: front width 315mm (12.4") rear width 300mm (11.8") total weight: 1841 g with lipo repartition weight 62/38 and the first test, with rear width 10mm less, but it's better now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyNJeyWnymA I tuned the sidewinder with a long curved throttle to get some smooth in low speed and total speed at full throttle. The size tires difference gives an overdrive I'm looking forward to my first go area Last edited by tgenial58; 01-20-2016 at 03:43 AM. |

Looking good. One question.. Will this be called a moa chassis. As the tranny is fixed to the axles.. As I heard the tranny needs to be mounted on the chassis next year and not on the axle.. I was looking for this option also.. But is this legal or not next year...? |

I heard the same. So if we look more ready, nothing says you must have solid or articulated links. Here, we have solid links. And when you watch the tranny, it's inside the chassis, fixed on it. And a shaft links axle to the gearbox. Is it forbidden to fix axle links on gearbox? So, it could, perhaps, stay in rules limits. And to be quiet, I'm building a chassis with a gearbox inside with front and rear link I build it with RC4WD pinions a front axle based on same idea and the chassis are drawn I don't want to be refused on technical control |

Hi ! So the last run tells me "Yours Voodoos are dead" Since the beginning, I have some rock claws, wich I feel good but too small. So, what happened? I combine both to make voodoo claws I need 1.5 rock claws to build 1 voodoo claws I need to add medium foam strip to complete the new volume And now, overdrive is really sensitive |

I cut old tread to keep flexibility and I prefer to do that than glue new tread on old tread.

Looks great! I watched the vid, I thought for sure you where going to hit that 6th gate but you wiggled up there. Great driving when hung up. Looks like you'll have to run this in the unlimited class tho. But maybe you French guys won't adopt the changes made to the sports man class for 2016. Seems to me like there are a few of you guys into these different shaft driven rigs and I think that's pretty cool. Keep it it up! |

Hi! I replaced the rear cross aluminum by a Delrin, with a thread for attaching the bodywork. The aluminium was too thin when I roll over and I was afraid for the chassis. Now, I am reassured and weight, 3g, is cool. To attach the front, small plier delrin which is clipped to a cross member of the box And I replace the aluminium cross member by delrin for better glide |
