| A few shock questions
Just got a ax10 scorpion from a buddy. As I'm going through cleaning it up I'm finding some things that don't give with the manual.. first thing 3 of the springs are reds and the rear left is blue?. Also on refilling the shocks I noticed that I have bladders and not orings.

The previous owner likely put the blue spring on to help counteract torque twist. Bladders are better than O rings, IMO.

the way my buddy talked i don't think he drove it enough to tune it any. He had issues with it from day 1 with the receiver. So figured he would not have tuned it any. Not liking that stiff spring in their truly hampers flex on that side. Also hate those bladders in these shocks. Find it a real pia to refill and get the level correct, to full and it pops the bottom off the shock to little and it sucks the bladder in. I have bladders in my summit and they work great and easy to fill. Guess ill have to go talk to my buddy and see if he has the original parts. Supposibly he had a bunch of alum hop up parts but cannot find them anyware as well as the remote...LOL O well i just got this to tinker with since my summit is just right the way it is. This thing has a long way to go to get it to be a good crawler. |
