Default Need help ccc boxer chassis

So I picked up a boxer chassis and I have almost everything put together but the only thing I'm at a loss at is it came with 2 short spacers one is threaded tho. Are those to mount the electronics on the front too plate on the axle? Also I ordered it with the ax10 mounting holes for the tranny but it will not fit my tranny that I got. One of the top hoops on the chassis hits the spur and when I take the spur off one of the braces hits the top of the transmission. Is there a difference between the scx10 tranny and ax10 tranny?

Pics would help bud..

Do you have the skid in correct?
Did you try rotating it 180°?

Nope, all the same tranny..

I know when I got mine, I had to get 2x braces from BmachineRC, to get mine to work out right.

I know I have a different tranny.. But the braces could help, just the same.

I picked up a second one, built.. The front brace was dremeled out, to clear the nut on a locked tranny output.

So if yours has a slipper on it, it may not work at all. It's not designed for it.

So here's what I have. I know on his website he shows the chassis with ax10 tranny in it but I have no idea how it fit in. As for the short spacers I know at least one of them is for the electronics plate that hanged right above the drive shaft but the other is longer and threaded so I don't know if I was sent one wrong one and I'll have to cut it and drill the hole.

The transmission case is taller than the cab so it won't make a difference. I can also ditch the slipper but I would only be able to run like a 20 tooth spur because how close the cab is to the transmission. I think I can get the tranny low enough if I cut off the spacers that are on the skid but it still will not fix the spur problem.

Top right picture - its an AX tranny .... look at the cab compared to yours
2.2 S

If gearing doesn't work with that spur then you could try going to 32pitch gears. Ive seen other sporty's with that on there. Ditch the slipper will give you some clearance on the brace but more importantly less headaches come comp time.

Well the thing is even with the slipper on I don't have clearance problems. The problem is that there is so little room between the tranny and the top plate that the spur gear would have to be tiny to the point where I wouldn't be able to find one that small. I think I could get it to work if I spaced out one side of the cab so the spur gear would fit and take out the one brace that hits the tranny. Or what else I could do is find a way to make the cab taller so the spur would clear. The thing I don't understand is on the ccc website he has a picture of a rig running a ax10 tranny with the spur on it but I don't know how it's setup to work.

So I got an email back about why they didn't fit. Those 2 spacers I got are for the cab side plate to space it out for the spur gear.
