You need more blue screws, yup blue screws to go with the green body

I need to hire you for my bench shots, that thing looks sexy sitting there. Now get out and scratch that dog up!

Great choice Butch!
It doesn't get any better then that right there!

Thanks Guys! Glad you like the 13t Puller Troy, and glad it didn't melt to the rocks at Worlds...lol. I have heard nothing but good things about the XX wire and this has gotta be one rocking motor in a sporty!! Can't wait to fire it up. I did have to throw some blue screws on my C-Class wheels Robbob, just couldn't help myself with that pearl green paint!!

This might be the most steering I've had on any rig. I just need to do my electronics smash and she is ready to roll!!

A winning combination with Robbob wheels and PURPMART done tires! ;)

It looks like you have a little positive caster, on your outside tire? Maybe the angle of the pic?

Yup, upper links probably about 8-10mm to long.

Tilt that front axle back about 25* and she'll steer even better

Did you roll the axle forward to clear the servo and shock bottom?

If thats the reason then you could try the angled axial pieces, the ones that throw the ball off center. Should give enough clearance if I remember from pics of Troys build.

Yeah, Barry Thinks it's how it should be, for drive line angle.. But throws off other things.
It's OK, if the beef tubes get set right.
Now it would just be a matter of shortening the links. Easy easy..

Yes sir Robbob! Like this..

My father is a retired machinist with access to a really nice CNC machine so I decided a great way for him to use up some of that extra time is to make me some cool parts!! I gave him the dimensions of some 7075 preload rings I wanted and here is what he came up with. They are 5mm wide, tapped to 10mm-1 and a knurled edge. They serve no other purpose than just looking cool but what the hell.

Shortened up my front upper links last night and took out a lot of that positive castor, steering is definitely a little better. The servo is close to the bottom of the shock but not touching. I think I will still order the axial bent rod ends to get a little more space. I will post some pics of last nights progress later. Electronics are smashed and ready to be tested and Puller is mounted..
