Default Nburns11 BWD nightmare

Okay guys so today I got my work bench and my sitting area in the garage put back together after the move and finally got to do some work to the rig.

So I had quite a few things come in the mail during the move . Had my beef tubes and xr mod steering links come in the mail from Dan Davidson over at beeftubes.com. The great one and only don did some magic for me on the Vanquish Products wraith Hubs & knuckles. Then had some China bearings show up also. So we assembled the front and rear axles. I plan on clocking the chubs back quite a bit. I'll need to go buy a tapping kit in the future but let's get it RTR first. Left to purchase is wheels, tires & vp hubs and my servo.

What body's are you guys running ?
What body mounts ?

Jealous. That garage is entirely too clean.

Many of us use Gunners body mounts, you get a lot in a bag. Hes got them in the Vendor section.

Also for bodys you got good choices with Lattice Innovations Derringer ..... Parma Xciter ..... Pro-line bugs if you find them.

This is on my Losi years ago - just measured from the front of the hood back 8'' and trimmed length. Cut the front fenders off and I was good.

Did some electronic work tonight .
I shortened the esc and bec 3 pin connectors for a cleaner tighter look .
This is with the bec receiver and esc.

Thanks to papabashs bit of info and a friendly PIF. I got the transmission mounted those screws won't be falling out again

Honestly feel these things are a must for all axial transmissions . So I've been having the run around with my income taxes which is why my build is pretty much at a stand still. So in about 3-5 weeks I'll be finishing this build .

Well sorry I left the thread high and dry . But it's finished let's see if I can remember where I left off . I'm running the vp hubs 475s in the front and 250s in the rear with Rcbros 3 piece wheels mounted to those and mounted on my wheels is some voodoos pins in silver compound ultra narrowed by Everett young at ey designs. I'm running Rcbros extended knuckles in the rear of the vp knuckles so I could run my steering link under the pinon on the front axle . Powering my steering is a hitec 7980tg Jesus 611ozs of torque is overkill . Now I'll be getting some serious wheel time on this thing this weekend April 2nd and the 3rd . Can't freaking wait took it out in the neghibors backyard for a little test run and Jesus crawls beautiful .this thing is beautiful thanks don @ billetworksdesign.com I absolutely love this rig
