Default Nburns11 BWD nightmare

Nburns11 bulld

First off this is my first build thread and I'm super excited, first built not bought.
I will be building a billet works design nightmare cf kit. I have been eyeing this chassis down for a few months and couldn't dare leave my scaler. Well I did it parted my scx10 all the way down to transmission plate to ladder rails. Parts started selling left and right, finally I had enough to order my chassis so messaged I don through Facebook (thanks your an awesome human being) and placed my order 1/7/15. Now I wait for the chassis to be fabbed and shipped to me but in the mean time I have been following papas build very closely I'm gonna be using a lot of the same parts he has used. I also took a lot of my questions to the Facebook groups. So let's begin

If everything is all in one piece it's easier to move

Ran into a bind with the transmission it had a longer top shaft then my other transmission so I stole the shaft switched those around put me behind by like 45 minutes had to take a break and go run a errand . But this is where I am so far. I'll eventually get the slipper clutch eliminator from lockedup Rc

I assembled the chassis, links and got almost everything done that I could. Went to our new house got the key today. And my wife's car key broke no way to go or anything so we booked a Uber transportation back to our hotel where the spare was and my build so after a 2 hour delay I got back to my build and ended up here for the night it's 2:30 in the morning time to get some sleep .
tomorrow Is the shock cap mod. Remind you I'm still waiting on a lot of parts . Mostly for the axles so far I'm pretty damn happy with this build. Very happy with the carbon fiber.

2/2/2016 - only thing I could do today was the traxxas shock cap mod. I've got two done one is drying right now (silicon sealant) I'll get the rest done tonight and mounted back on the truck and I'll call it a night

Well stayed up a little longer and got the bec soldered up the HH BR MINI PRO. When it's time to mount to the chassis I'll probably shorten 3pin connectors wires to the receiver to give it a real clean install

Got my Grip Fab SS lockers In today. Got them assembled using a HD overdrive gear for the front. And a left over stock gear for the rear. I'm waiting on my bearing kit to get these rear axles done. Now I'm waiting on my Rc stimulus package (income tax) to come into the back account to order a few more parts that I need .

More updates coming after dinner time.

Went ahead and mounted up the front axle with the servo/battery mount. I'll have to pull the axle housing and install its guts as the parts show up.

And I'm calling it a night probably won't have any updates till Monday cause we will be moving this weekend
