Well I broke 2 new links trying to bend up a new drag link last night, so I went back to the original. Also got my battery tray made up. I'll post some pics of those up later, but for now pics as requested Mr. Robbob

Got the truck on the rocks this weekend for a little shake down run.

Saturday I tried a 22t pinion and its a no go for this trans. No torque and it actually browned out on me a couple times while in a bind. So Sunday I went back out with the 20t pinion and it was all good. Truck handled great and was pulling some pretty hard lines. Only issue I had was the rear end wanting to come over on some descents so I need to see if i can figure that out. Gonna try some link position changes and see what happens.

Thanks for Looking

Finally got around to taking some pics of the battery tray. I took some lexan and bent it into a "U". Cut it to size and then double side taped to the underside of the smash plate. battery is a snug fit and has stayed put. Also made a protector for my servo.

Received my new side plates from Rob this week. He re worked the upper link mounts to a more vertical profile.

Here are some comparison pics. Front didn't change too much but the rear did.

FRONT

BACK

And installed

Plenty of clearance for trans.

Had our Nor Cal comp last weekend. Truck was working great, driver not so much. Managed to keep it together enough to pull out a second. Gate 10 on course 2 was a doozy

Truck looks great!! I like running my battery under the plate as well. It gets the COG nice and low and you don't have to trim your body to go around the battery or have your battery get stuffed into the nose of the body every time the suspension compresses! Looks like the chassis is gonna work out well for you this season.

Thanks Blandon. That was my goal when designing this was to get everything as low as possible and out of the way

Well I received my latest version of the Un-Stuck chassis from Rob a few weeks ago. Chassis looks great and I'm digging the engraving of the name

Upper link mounts are vertical now compared to the previous versions. (Top is new version)

(Bottom is new version)

Now I just need some time to swap them out.

Thanks for Looking

Question.... I'm new to this and have never been to a real competition (only the mini ones me and the buddies do in the back yard) so excuse my newness. But how do you get a negative score ? We start at 0 and it's 5 points for a flip and 1 for a back up but the best we can do is 0

We follow the USRCCA rules and run a 10 gate format. We start at 0 as well. -2 for each gate with a possible -20. We score penalties +10 for hitting a gate, +1 for reverse, +5 for rollover touch (flip) and +10 for reposition/repair. For full rules you can look in the competition section.

Full Rules >>>>HERE<<<<, In Summary you get minus points for completing gates cleanly.

Finally got the new plates installed and the rig out on the rocks. I also flipped my rear link mount to raise the rear links up a bit at the axle and that seemed to help the ass over end problem

We had our NorCal RCRC comp this last weekend. We only run Sporty every other month. I pulled out a tie this time.

Thanks for Looking

You have a good eye. Yup is the San Ramon falls. Love that place.

Thanks Travis. Im sure i do know the pit like you knew DVC. Too bad the pit is Private property. Id love to hold a comp there but only I have permission to be there and don't want to ruin a good thing. Love the DVC too but not the needles and other crap the bums leave

Im a little slow on the update here. Well I went to the AZ shootout a couple weekends ago and the truck wasn't having it. Course 1 for the day was not what I was expecting. Had some electronics issues and the rig kept shutting off, did not finish that course. Same problem on course 2 and 3 before i figured it out. Darn battery plug. Rest of the day went pretty good and the rig handled great I finished 5 of 6 courses and finished with a 16th place. Time for some battery plug maintenance On the bright side of things I finished 6th in Pro.
