Little Winner, gettin UN-Stuck..

Plain and simple!
A couple pieces of CF and a delrin skid..
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...1ccad21e7c.jpg
Comes nicely packaged..
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...cc951e7cee.jpg
I got straight to work... (A week later) [emoji33]

Hmmm.. Might have to lose the slipper and upgrade to a locked setup..(instead of a locked slipper)
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...82c0e58a4a.jpg
Or not....
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...05b09cfdec.jpg
Some Sweet braces, I've had, from BmachineRC!
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...c3b8279137.jpg
Time to get to work on some links!
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...c13ac611c6.jpg
A nice fresh rear link mount..
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...5f9e05d2b9.jpg
And of course.....

A CustomFiber desTroy plate! [emoji106] [emoji38]

Re: Little Winner, gettin UN-Stuck..

Let's get a little update going on..
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...75ce59a642.jpg
What's this!? Upper link mounts more vertical..... [emoji33]

http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...4f8bb05b1f.jpg
While I was looking for links, I can across a VP 12.3" ti link kit.. Hmmm..
The lowers measure right! With the numbers I got, for link lengths..

But, there might be some bending needing done.. I'm sitting at 12.75"..
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...6bd143797e.jpg
Good enough for mach up tho..
Shocks are a little much.. Might go with the reverse cap mod..
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...0012b47972.jpg

Or better yet, I might do a full on shock swap..
Time to get some use out of this set of Rcbros shocks I have sitting around! [emoji41]

Time will tell, what comes next!

Where do I find the carbon fiber motor guard? Build is looking good, but I seem to have forgotten about the search feature and just need to know where to find that motor guard.

Re: Little Winner, gettin UN-Stuck..

you dont need the lockedup kit, axial makes a shaft for about 6 bucks, and you you use the stock backing plate that comes with every tranny case set......."thumbsup"

you save 14 bucks"thumbsup"

the lockedup one is nice though..........;-)

snapon boy 07-11-2016 09:42 PM

Re: Little Winner, gettin UN-Stuck..

Ok, roksolski those are good ideas but what is the part number for the spacer that goes behind the spur gear backing plate so it dosnt slide in to far.

Re: Little Winner, gettin UN-Stuck..

The plastic axial slipper eliminator will hold up for a while before it ends up with a nice round 5mm hole. I killed 2 of them before getting a locked up rc metal version. The input shaft for the transmission is the same between the factory non slipper and locked up version. It would be nice if someone simply sold an alloy slipper eliminator piece instead of swapping the whole shaft etc.

Thanks for the heads up. :D

Re: Little Winner, gettin UN-Stuck..

this is what the GPM kit looks like put together.....
in a scaler its fine......
but in a sporty, if tou have a cross brace ,like my sporty does, this wont work because of the longer shaft...............

http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...ps5w6bosvi.jpg

with the short axial shaft, or the lockedup shaft the nylok nut is much closer to the spur gear........
just an FYI

Robbob 07-13-2016 06:11 PM

Re: Little Winner, gettin UN-Stuck..

The un-Stuck was designed around not using a slipper ...... you wanna use the shorter shaft "thumbsup"
