First training session was failure. Only 1 course driven. Servo was moving left to right by itself. This is what i found Bec receiver cables worn out Time to take rubbercomp off and start soldering new wires to bec. New wires ready for soldering. I bought couple years ago 10 sets of this replacement wires. New Wires soldered. I hope it works. It stopped completely working after first training course. Testing does it work... Yes! It works This is common problem with CC micro Sidewinders and CC Bec 10A I have fixxed with same method two micro sidewinders and two 10 becs Time for new bath of rubbercomp Ready for next battle Also i had to make adjustments to receiver. With the antenna inside cable sock car was moving not so good after 2m of distance. So had to take it out. Now the car was ready for it's first and last training session before first Finnish RC Crawling series comp 2017. Last edited by Juuti; 10-10-2017 at 11:03 AM. |

One training sessions and it was time to go seasons first comp Finnish RC Crawling series 2017 start now! First comp out of five comps was held in Helsinki, Viikki. New spot for everybody. It was nice place to hold comp. Few pictures from the comp place. Thanks to Zarizi Tech for pictures. -Link to better quality and much more pictures- https://zarizitech.nn.fi/kuvat/Finni...+1+-+Helsinki/ We had many ppl participating in season start. Not 100% sure was it record. That's the way to start season. There was good amount scale ppl also. I like that we run Scale & Crawling comps together at the same time. Good way to get scale ppl to the dark side My driving was not so good. Out of time in one course 4th place overall. Ok result with this amount of training and new setup. Man needs more training! Ok second season for me so there is time evolve. More training with the new setup. Overall i'm very happy with the new setup. I like it more than narrowed Ar60 in the front. More turning angle to the tires. I like the extra weight from the beeftubes. Here is video from the comp. Course 4/4 -39pts |

Last training before Rc Rock Crawling Nordics -17! This is what happened! Broke two wheels and bend front upper links. No time or money to order new wheels before Nordics. So i had to use the same wheels that i use in my 2.2M car. CI 6 Bolt wheels 1" and Voodoo pins (gold) There was one problem with these wheels. I could not get offset in front narrow enough with these wheels and full widht AR60 axles. It ended 1cm wider than i would like it to be. No time to moan. It's Nordics time and it's moving forward so let's go! |

| Re: Rainbow Dash (Y-town 2.2S) So it was time to go to nordics -17! Second trip to nordics for me. This time nordics was held in Finland. So it was short drive this time to comp. About 220KM trip one way. It was fun to see old and new faces in the comp. I like crawling ppl because. It's like one big family. Everybody is willing to help each other. I had all kind of spare parts and computer with cc link. There was couple times i get to loan my computer and give some parts to help other ppl. Look how happy everyone looks on sunday after the comp! Few pictures from the comp. Not my pics. I don't have time to take comp pics becouse i'm filming them. Big thanks to Samu Sarka for pics. Down is link for more pics from Samu. https://zarizitech.nn.fi/kuvat/Nordi...Comp+pictures/ Last year i was 6th with my 2.2$. I knew that i would have problems with wide front. So my goal was to get to finals. I had all ready trophy from 2.2M so it would be fun to take second also. Big viking would have been nice to take home. I had big problems with the wide front. Narrow gates on the edge was super problematic for my car. Overral i was happy with my driving. That was not enough to finals. 6th place again. It's funny that i was last year 3rd in 2.2$ and 6th in 2.2$! Same result this year also. Here is course 6/6 run. -16pts I bought new filming eguipment also. Gimball and 4k camera. I bought Vegas pro editing software and i had problems with it. The video audio and framerate is not so good. Some codex problems i think. I could not get it fixed. So i used some more money and bought Adobe premiere and all other programs that adobe provides. Now i have to pay every month to make videos. I don't like that because i'm at school and i don't have so much money. Now i don't have so much money to buy Rc stuff! Hopefully it will pay it self back somehow. Goods from manufactors or something like that. Here is compilation that i made from the comp. It would be fun if ppl would share it in Facebook and other medias. Of course other videos 2. If i get more views then it would be possible me to get some ad revenue from the videos. Of course that would motivate me to do even more and better videos. I See You |

Nordics was over. Time to move on! I got Dravtech mini chassis in the sponssor raffle also some other stuff. Stickers etc. I know that i'm not going to build mini for me. I don't say never... Everybody knows what then happens. Tobias got his own wheels in the raffle. So i broke my own wheels before nordics. I asked from Tobias could he change the mini chassis to wheels he got? I knew that i would not have money to buy wheels in month or so. 1 or 2 comps with wide front was in front of me. Not fun. Tobias said yes! So i had new wheels for my 2.2$ -Link to go shoping- 2.2″ Tri-Blade Cyclone CF Wheel – DravTech So i took the Voodoos (Gold) off from the broken wheels. I used oven to heat them and scalpel to take them off. I should have maybe cleaned them better before installing... These wheels are Dlux style. So they have more space inside for weight down low. For now i will stick with vp weights. Here is video that i made how to install these dlux style wheels. Also how i modified my Crawler Innovation foams to work with them. I'm using CI 6.0" soft comp cuts in the front. CI 5.5" med comp cuts in the rear. CI foams are very easy to work with dremel. Hope u liked the video! |

Here is good video to show how i struggled on gate 9. U can see how i was in trouble with 2 wide front. Luckly now i have it narrow again with the new wheels. It was very easy course. -39pts | |
