Shaved Rovers, .... yeah. Good practice tires. They seem to like the rock pile in the backyard, but don't offer the grip of the pins. The pins are RC3WD BullyComp tires, the Rovers are white dot. Foams are 5.5" CI narrows, soft in the front and medium in the back. I'm running the same foams in both sets of four. One difference is the wheels, the pins are on narrow DCW's, and the rovers are on 1.0" DCW's. The narrow DCW's were channeled to lose weight, and also have a thinner face for weight reduction. I spread the rear uppers out as well. |

I just received my un-stuck yesterday, very excited to start my first sporty build. Your build is very nice. This thread has given me a good idea of how I would like to start off my build.

I've made a few changes to this rig... Mainly tires/wheels/weight. I've changed out a few things to improve "near" vertical climbs, break-overs, and side-hilling. This chassis is outstanding. | |

Well.... Let my nephew drive her for a bit and he destroyed a Rover. He's helping me shave the next set I just ordered.... |

You could say that.... could also say that he was not very good with throttle control. Was more of a full throttle affair, the Holmes 13T took care of the rest.
