Been playing around for a couple months now. Been through over a dozen rigs. Mechanics is my background so this came quick and passionately. Currently working on my integy cage set up. Eventually I would like to find a nice frame choice aside from the integy cage ... Any personal chassis choice suggestion? Glad I found this place! Ive been reading up on tons of builds. Felt the need to share mine here! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by THX_138; 12-12-2016 at 11:50 PM. |

That's one of those questions that you'll get 20 different answers from 20 different people. Best thing to do is read thru the build threads (like you're doing) and make up your own mind. For instance...I'm using the SuckerPunch (5th Dimension) chassis...built two trucks on those chassis'...one with widened SCX10 axles and one with AR60 axles. Both very capable trucks. But, there ya go, two answers, two different suggestions. Only 18 more to go. |

I've built both the sucker punch and the unstuck. I'm running the unstuck currently and I really like it. Clean, light and simple, oh yea it's cheap too. I don't think there is a wrong answer with any of the popular and even some of the not so popular chassis out there these days. Any of them can be tweaked to work well. Not all can be great but they'll get the job done.

Im biased in my opinion... There are lots of great chassis out to choose from, really cant go wrong with whatever you decide on. Pick what looks good to you and has a few build threads to copy from. |

Im in the same boat as Chris lol ...... but what he said I think is the best. Read through some build threads, find what catches your eye then see if any locals have it and you can ask questions. Every truck needs time tuning and drivers practice, there really isnt a bad chassis out there. |

Well seems like locally there isn't much for comp crawlers everyone's running scale trucks. After searching for days I've found a couple I can't come up with a name and 2 which seem to be discontinued or the maker is no longer making. The dominator chass looks right up my ally though. Thanks for sharing. Lots of planning to do. It would end up being a separate build from this. No point in doing half way, being on the MOA! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Been playing around with my new scx10 ii kit, solid little rigs! Not much for comp crawlers around here buy dozens of scale rigs haha Tearing down my buggy for a rebuild. Decided to stick with a simple 2.2 rock buggy so this won't be any crazy thread to follow haha I'm going to overdrive the front, get some new wheels and add some weight up front. I plan to do some paint and new panels. I would really like to pick up a futaba 4pls and then add a dig and some rock lights shortly after that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Wondering what's everyone's opinion on running BOA front and rear but keeping motor centre. Im currently running dual batts in chassis, question throwing the weight down to the axles but not sure it's worth it if I can add enough weight down low. Going to order a set of the TSS brass knuckles, shopping around for wheels and see VP has some hub weights which do not rotate! Seems like a hot item for my build Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
