driving on the rocks at the beach i mentioned too much flex. in extrem like front axle is upside down, rear axle is normal. before with the stiffer springs blue axial i hadnearly no flex. to get it like i want i think it's a matter of spring setup. or is there another parameter i have to mention.
i managed the setup of my little monster (yeti) but crawling which is the main propose of little betty i have no clue. still a complet noob.
another issue i have the hyrax 2.2“ are very sticky on the rocks, which is fine on the surface. but the tire sidewall hangs on rocks. is this something i could change with differend foams?
i still have the standard foam that came with the hyrax. would be the ci dw tall better?
nother question i have 128mm shocks from the ax10 kit even with the softes springs i have the shocks full extended. i thing it would be better if they are let's say 40% compressed.
which would be a good set up for a terain like shown in the pics above?
thx for youre opinions. crawling is complet new to me.
how do i get little betty to a good capable crawler? without changing it complete.
i know xr mod other chassis..... but i want to keep it near to how it is yet... but also want to improve the performance

Some updates for little betty

Installed the mechatronik steering and made an diy steering link, a little wobbeling like using an servo saver.
So far i'm happy with it, but i think it's not the final solution.

Installed hi-clearence links front and rear and chnged mounting pos (shocks now on the outside).
Also installed a 4 link mount with diy upper links and changed rear springs to a dual spring set up.

Rotated the skid, motor is now on the left side.

Replaced the CC Sidewinder esc for an hw 1080, cause i decided to stay brushed on little betty. Little Froggy needs his esc back.

Couldn't resist modified the skit to mount links inside.

For the first test drives i use an lipo checker to check cutoff

Also made some rock lights powered direct from the balance port of 3s lipos.

Still have an weight ratio f/r 60%/40% or 55%/45% depending which accu i use, total weight 2,5kg incl. Accu.

Urban crawling on the river.

Little Betty did it really well, very happy how the setup came out.
I don't know which change did it but no torque twist any more.

Thx
Never thought about it, cause the former three link uses them so i left it as i installed the 4 link.
Have to try it without sometime, to test if it will make a change.
So far i'm happy how it performs, but i lack of comparison with others.

Wasn't really Happy with the Mechatronik steering cause it was a little slopy. So i hit the trigger in some Sale items

All from xtraspeed cvd xh hard, alloy Front Hub Conversion and alloy Front Caster Block for scx10. Fit perfectly, except one cvd needed a little sanding to fit the axle bearing.

Have to Fab new steering links before i can tell if it will be an improvement but looks promising.
