Sportsman build question

Hi i am actually looking to rebuild me a sporty so i am wanting to know some info on parts and active vendors .

So my first question is what would be your tranny choice ,,, scx10,dlux ham or cheese??,hulksta and other one if i miss something and with your tranny choice what would be your motor and pinion choice???

I am trying to collect all my parts and after trying to post a build thread.

Tgs productions make the margouilliat shafty. It used rc4wd gears which is hard to get so he makes them for that gearbox.

I use the dlux hamberger with low ratio SAF gears in a lot of sportsman builds I do. I always recommend it for its light weight and versatile mounting.

Classicutcustoms Bulldog trans has been solid in my sporty for many years with zero maintenance. It also uses berg gears, Im using RCBros lightweight aluminum gears and SDS 3rd. Its an enclosed trans and a bit more compact than the others. Dlux Hamburger is another choice but a bit tighter fit.
