foams?
 
Just got back into rc crawlers. I wound up with 4 of them and I'm trying to purchase some foams for my rovers. really confused with the new closed cell foam inners..... what foams is everyone running front and back?

It depends on the tires, but if Proline makes a foam that fit I have found them to work better for me than CI foams.

You will really miss out on things, if you downplay CI foams.
Just because 1 non crawler says "go proline".. doesn't hold much clout..

Foams can be a tricky thing.. with Rover's, it can be the difference between cutting the side lugs off or shaving the tires.
It makes a Huge difference in how the foams work. Also if they are new or used foams.. I like used foams and going a size bigger.

I would call Eddie @ CI and check with him.

I personally liked a 5.5" comp cut with soft outer, for the front. 5.5" with medium outer, for the rear.
You can play with it from there.
