More pictures as promised! Trans installed, links have been made and for those who were really concerned about the crooked cross brace, it now has screws holding it so its straight and you can sleep well. Last edited by Erik D_lux; 04-02-2018 at 07:25 AM. |

Awesome ideas here for sure. My TRX-4 build uses a Hamberger and I wanted to side mount the trans but silly SORRCA rules and chassis stuff made that something I ran out of time for.

Nobody pays attention to detail these days eh? All these pics and nobody has caught that one big ginormous detail yet...

I just really surprises me that no one has noticed the most crazy insane part of this thing yet? Maybe because it’s such a drastic departure from the norm? Like hiding in plain sight? Idk?

So, is this the cheeseburger trans since the outputs are coming out different? What kind on difference does this give you?

It is. It fights torque twist because they are spinning opposite directions.

It gives overdrive to the front, so you can use the same gears front and rear. It also has counter rotating shafts so it helps eliminate torque twist. Not anymore. Try to keep up! LOL Pretty long relatively to sporties. About 10"

Why didn’t you go high pinion on the rear axle? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

| Re: Dlux has gone off the deep end The Cheeze trans needs one of the axles to turn opposite so I had to choose between the front and rear which would be low pinion. Ideally, I would have made it high pinion. Your questions will make more sense soon. |

Its actually so simple its stupid. I am just taking something that has been around forever, even on RC cars and applying it in a different way so its works better. Some will be like "how did I not think of that", some will be like "that is stupid and will not work". You have to know something about the way suspensions and links work. If you do, you will understand the logic and how this will work so well together. |

I is gonna run sway bars instead of shocks, with ride height determined by some sort of doohickey setting the torsion bar to a set level. Like the Nissan hardbody.

Looks like you only have room for one upper link in the front and rear. That combined with the length of the chassis makes me think you're going with pan-hard bars front and rear for better packaging.

The chassis plates are cut different for upper link. One side is cut out for nothing while the other has holes. Hmm....
