| Positioning & height if Betty b17 body (stock ax10)
Hi there, I've searched quite a bit (probably not yet enough, so apologies). I've built my ax10 some 9 years ago, had a spin and then life took over. Some 6 years ago I camo painted the b17 but got no further. Now with my young ones at the right age, I fired up the nimh pack and was pleasantly surprised that I got a decent run out of it. Also, I managed to get rid of the 6year old masking glue So - time to add the body to the frame. I can see that most position their body right above the wheels, which is fine. But: how do you determine how high the body needs to sit? I can see some goes for maximum height (max body height looks not too fancy) , while others have the holes just below middle of the door - which is smack in the middle of my camo and eventual Betty-decal. Im sure I'm not going to go to extremes with it, just challenging some obstacles me and the girls find while being on vacation or so. Any ideas of a reasonable height for the holes above the bottom of the body - other than flexing the axes as far as possible not sure if full flexing might even be required. Thanxs. |

Uhmmm, I just realised that the template for the positioning is on page 24 of the manual. Thanxs anyway!
