Note that Axial also offers another motor plate that allows small outrunner to bolt right up.
Now that's smart thinking and service of Axial ! What's the distance of the mounting holes (also in millimeters, please ...) ? By the way, a motorplate could easily be homemade

Attach the shocks the the standoff, and upper chassis plate mounts.

We attached the rear links to the farthest adjustment point out and set the front to the middle spot, this gave us about a 12.25" wheelbase.

Next we built the rear steer lockouts and installed them.

Moving onto the front, it's time to bolt on the Aluminum servo mount plate, build the drag link and tie rod and install it all on the front axle.

Bolt the wheels and tires on, and put the upper deck on and we've got ourselves a roller.

You are going to test it now too, right? Video would be nice . Just to see how it performs right out of the box.

Droool! Now that is cool...

There are so many parts to the kit that are reminescent of items from other companies. It's like the best of everything was incorporated into one production kit...

The tranny lends itself to a stealth, the axles have parts that look like WK's, the chassis resembles a number of offerings from the forum...

Essentially this kit saves folks looking to get started several hundred right off the bat for what looks like a killer rig.

Here are a few flex shots, and then I am gonna call it a night. Big thanks to my friends Bender and Kris for the help, there's no way I could have gotten this far and taken all the pics, ect in this time without them helping out.

Tomorrow we'll drop in the electronics and take it out for a spin!

I really planned on running it tonight, but it just isn't going to happen, besides building this rig we also shot over 600 photos of the build. We're all dead tired and ready for bed.

Don't worry though, we'll get pics and video up soon.

Nice buildup thread

I'm really impressed with the amount of thought that Axial put into this rig. Everything from the 3-link to the bolt-on axle C's, to separating out the parts by step shows a lot of planning went into this thing.

It gets my vote just for the outrunner motor plate

Question: Are replacement parts available individually, Traxxas-style, or do they HPI it and make you buy a whole parts tree? I'm a little worried about the integrated link mounts on the axles.

Props for including bearings and aluminum hexes. And the axles would look sweet under a scaler.

Looks nice.

Some thought was put into it for sure.

Like Stu, I'm curious to the long term durability of the integrated link/shock mounts.
