Heres some of mine, just finished building it from scratch. Its my first 2.2, and i love it! Novak rooster crawler Novak 55t R2d w/ tcs servo mount and futaba servo Hitec 645MG for steering Stock shocks with internal springs Losi rock carvers, memory foam, 5 1/4oz front, 2 1/2 oz rear Rear 4 link R2j Kustoms delrin 4 link plate and skid Hot racing aluminum rear lock outs Stock beadlocks 30 degree bent lower links (rear) TQ3 Losi grappler body on the way, after that, a comp chassis. Hey folks, it's great to be here! My AX-10 based crawler- Venom Creeper body, Rooster Crawler ESC, Traxxas 3 Ch RX, Stock Axial axles w/ lockers, ProLine Chisels w/ RPP beadlock wheels, MIP/Thunder Tech D-shafts, R2D II Dig Trans (Futaba S3001 Servo), Diablo Chassis, Integrity 35T motor, Losi Threaded shocks, HR rear axle extensions, Venom front inner C's, titanium upper-Y links, CKRC hi-steer outers, Cirrus P-CS704MG servo, Futaba aluminum servo arm, 2/3A split 6 cell NIMH on front axle.    action. yeah I made it down on all fours... This is my axial rtr. Although ive torn it all down and rebuilt it numberous times since I got into this branch of the R/C world on he 13th of this month. It now has a new aluminum steering servo arm to replace the servo saver and stock plastic servo arm that is junk, bent links in the rear, 106mm links in the front to strech the wheelbase a little. I cut the foams in the rear and added bb's. The front I cut even more out of the foams and added in more bb's. green springs in the rear and reds in the front. The battery is moved on to the rear axle on a custom piece of thick window lexan. I mirrored the transmission and added a proline tuber chassis with paneling. Im overall pleased with it for being my first attempt at anything rock crawling. The only thing im really not happy with is the tires, but that seems to be the concensus. Id work on it more, but im starting to bend up links for a scaler.  This is a pic of articulation, its really overkill and rubs the body, its more of a look at this than anything useful.  |
