Question portal axles for scorpion?

has any one tried to put tlt portals on the scorpion? do they fit?

because portals are kick a$$ just kiddin but i havent heard any body putting portals on the scorpion

I would stay away from portals, no real performance upgrade.

Increased clearence and lower gearing is no real performance upgrade?
Hopefuly with the newest revision they have them right.

Or increased center of gravity and increased breakage issues. I guess its all how you look at it though. I don't feel a need a lot of clearance if my rig is balanced and will hold its line. But I'm sure many people love lots of clearance. Also, I would be having to gear up at the motor/tranny just to more more than a snail's pace. Not trying to flame you, just a different point of view.

You want more clearance get the molands or the jordansPortals are cool for scale rigs but not for comps

i think portals would be good for getting axle clearance with out putting huge tires! and would be awsome for snow boggin. I live in an area of northern bc canada where our winters last eight months of the year so unless you want to crawl for only four months of the year your fu#*ed. and i wouldnt own any thing un scale! i think id love portals.....i need another credit card, but the bastards wont give me one!
