| Harley's TCS X-Trail Harley's TCS Scaler The Crawler Store's Axial Scale Chassis Well everyone, looks like the stock AX-10 didn't even make it out of the box before TCS was developing parts for it. This is the new scale chassis made especially for the AX10. This is the first test chassis out right now and more are coming. This chassis is cut out of delrin but the final product will be made out of aluminum. This chassis uses all of the stock components, you just replace the side plates! It is setup to run a wheelbase as short as ~11" which is perfect for the new popular bodies we all have been running (it can also be run at the stock wheelbase). Best part is this thing is going to be AFFORDABLE! The chassis was finished monday and then was shipped to me. Just bolted in the skid plate with the transmission already attached, bolted up the links to fit whatever wheelbase you want and throw on the shocks. The Geolanders are my favorite scale 2.2 tire, so they were also added to the build. The Axial wheels with the NEW TCS Delrin Beadlock rings will round out the wheel and tire package. This is going to be a great base for a sweet scaler. A few specs: TCS Axial Scale Test Chassis #1 Axial Beadlock Wheels TCS Delrin Beadlock Rings HPI Geolander Tires TCS Brushless BM9 Motor Castle Creations Mamba 25 ESC Hitec Digital 5645 Steering servo Here is a teaser picture until I finish the truck in the next few days (might be after the long weekend though). You know I couldn't just hand you all goods, you will have to wait awhile |

We are going to do some initial testing with these. Then several chassis' will be put up for sale very cheap as testers. I will try and give a heads up as to when. Just a few teases to the design of the chassis: Bruiser-like side profile Distinctive shock towers Adjustable wheel base ~11" to 12.5" all with stock links Nice ride height with stock shocks w/o springs |

EEEESSHH!! Im going to have to buy a second AX-10 kit, arent I? This hobby really does hump your wallet ito submission! Sounds like some great thinking went into the design if all you have to do is change out the chassis side plates. Finished or not, youve gotta bring this to the next comp so we can check it out. |
