Couldn't find a good Dynatrac logo to work with huh? Looks good and the decals came out good considering how small the logos are.

Ok I finally had time to add some more sponsors to the Ultimate Adventure FJ... I have yet to make a decision on whether I will add the Ultimate Adventure logo to the doors... From my understanding that was only added for the SEMA show in Vegas. I changed out the BF Goodrich along the rockers to the Dynatrac ones. I also sprayed the front/rear & step bars to a satin black hoping to get the look of the ones from the 1:1. Its not quite as glossy as the gloss paint on the body but not so noticeable unless you really look hard enough. Not the result I was after... |

I have looked around google and it looks to be like 2006 Ultimate adventure with a 2007 FJ Cruiser..?

I shot the body with clear after we painted the lime-green color. Now that I have the decals in place I am thinking of shooting it with clear again to save the paint/decals. My question is what type of clear is safe for R/C bodies..? I was thinking a urethane but wasn't sure if it gets too hot..? I noticed that the paint very easily scratches. And would be neat if we wanted that rust look to happen. But the original is blue in color and looks silly. There really is no way to match this green as we sprayed Krylon green into a cup and then sprayed some yellow to get this color. So knowing the correct measurements is impossible...

| I needed a good laugh after the LONG last night... But technically it could be used for just that Quote:
Yeah it was not easy by any means... Just make sure you have a good machine, correct down force / pressure and speed... The problem is unless you do this type of thing, most do not know what all that is involved in doing such... | |

That is looking good. Can't wait to see it finished. I reallylike the FJ body. I would have gone with that or a Cruiser for sure.
