| I don't have a better pic, but look at the last pic in post #11. I just used the stock Axial mount as a templet and redrilled the CG-1 mounts. Just don't do it backward like I did the first time, that why I have 3 extra holes in my link mounts!

Thanks for the heads up RX, I am in the market for a new comp rig for 08. After seeing the CG-1 this weekend in Disney, I have narrowed the field significantly. Are those 110mm shocks? |

I think so. They are longer than the big bores but alot shorter than the stock Scorpion shocks. I need to work on this rig some more. Needs a cool body any one got any suggestions. No bug body for this one.

Have you changed the shock position yet? I tried it your way and the shocks would compress before I could get any good articulation. I made some brackets to move the shocks to the top of the axles to try to keep the same geometry as the TLT axles. It works great. I actually like the Axial axles better! |

If that don't work I may try your set up, it looks good. |

Well since your getting one, I'll get to work so I can get it dailed in for you. You know your going to have to come to a SERCRC comp now.

Do you have any issue with the links hitting the axle mount plate limiting your articulation? Thinking about putting some small spacers under the TLT stays to lift the links aways from the mount

I've noticed on my TLT GC-1 that they hit a little, but it is at the same time the shock bottoms out. So it doesn't affect the truck. I've been really busy lately so I haven't mess with the AX-10 truck. I would probably trim the plate some before I spaced the mount up. I don't want to mess up the link geometery. The little bit you would space it might not make a difference anyway. I would get Austin's opinion.

When my links hit, I still have about 3/8" or so before shock is fully compressed. I am using Evader ST shocks. I will try shaving the mount down a little to compensate.

Here are the pics of my GC-1 AX10. I just installed an R2D. That was a chore in this chassis, not a direct fit. I am sitting at 12 1/2 right now. GateKeeper got them decals yet? I think my crawler is worthy now....... |

Those Revo links, are they 102mm eye-to-eye? I am going to make my own links (first for me) and I want to try to get them the right lengths from the get-go.
