| OK, now you confused me. I have all the stuff, just not enough to make many mistakes. I know Traxxas is sometimes a little iffy on their dimensions (some links are eye-to-eye, others are overall...) so I was hoping for a more difinitive answer.

They are 115mm eye to eye. Hope that helps.

Interesting, so they are longer than the advertised 102... Thanks for the info.

Man I'm stupid!!!! I have had the stuff laying around to build this truck since...well when ever this thread started but never finished it. This thing drives even better than my TLT axled GC-1. I'm actually looking foward to the East Coast Championship now LOL. Specs: GC-1 chassis AX-10 axles and trans Hitec 5955 steering RC4WD axles C's, knuckles, and straight axle adapter from TCS Modified Traxxas big bores Mamba maxx, 65T lathe motor 1550 mAh 3cell lipo for MaxAmps (also have a 1100 mAh) Proline Beadlocks and Rock Claws, will probably swap to my CAC Sinner 2's Hope to have tHE VF dig before the big comp if not I'll put these axles under my other GC-1 that has a R2D. Oh snap, joey can paint too Looking good you gonna bend the links?? also what do you think about the performance of shocks with the rod end mod? i have been thinking about doing it cause I think the shocks would do better than with fuel tubing |

Yeah I'll probably bend the links some. So far I like the shock mod, I had a hard time getting my self to cut the caps though. But glad it did. The 4" big bores were just too short for how I had everything setup. This is the smoothest setup I've ever ran. Nothing is better than nailing the throttle while it's on a verticle and not have it flip over |

Action pics. I'm still amazed at how well this truck crawls. I don't have dig on it yet and I can already climb more stuff than I could with the ol' yellow bug...and it was a very capable truck too. |

Joey what kind of belly clearence did you end up with? Tylers is at 2 3/4 and it seems like it would be nice to have 3inches. Also how much weight did you have to add? I have to agree with you on being smooth. Tylers rig is nuts to watch. Also i dont know if it will help but i cut 2 of the high clearence TCS links for the scorpion on the long side down to 115mm to run on the rear of Tylers and that worked great. |

I too have a GC-1 with axial components on it. . I tried TONS of ways on the set-up to not get the top links to bind with the shocks and the tires not to bind with the shocks upon compression and turning. i didnt use the link mounts on the top of the alxe plates. instead i bolted the end directly to the underside of the plate with a 1/16 spacer to keep from hitting the plate. the links are parallel to each other and to the lower links. for the shocks i used big bores (un-modded) and placed the shocks on top of the axles. i dont have a camera to take pics, i will see if a friend can take some and then mail them to me, so i can get them on. Props to Austin for the nice work on the chassis design. this rig works so smooth. everyone cant wait to see this thing action.
