Default RockLogic inspired FATDOG..

I was down in Lil Moab a couple weeks ago and saw a RockLogic buggy and it was too sweet...So I built my version of it...This is also my rig that will be run at the UTRCRC finals is St. George...

Specs:
FatDog Chassis
Axial Axles and upper links
RC4WD R2D Tranny
Novak GOAT Motor and ESC
Hitec 5995tg ti servo
Hitec 85mg micro (dig servo)
RC4WD RockStar Wheels
Losi Rock Claw Tires
ACE's Donuts
Tamiya Dark Impact Aluminim shocks
Spektrum radio
Traxxas BLUE lower links

Enjoy this has to be my favorite build so far...

They are made by 3racing correct? I run the same style shocks on all my rigs!! Usually the mini lst or mini inferno shocks, I will try the dark impact shocks next. How are the plastic tops holding up for you? I broke one so far :-(

Try changing the oil to 60 or 80 if you havent already, they feel really nice.

Tuber looks killer man

Im running 4wt right now and they are Tamiya shocks (some of my favorites) I havent ran into any problems with the plastic tops but I use ball ends with all of them...

Cant argue with tamiya shocks, they are some of the highest quality you can get.

Heres the 3racing shocks, very similar.

They are smooth runners you wont be disappointed, then again R2J's shock havent let anyone down...

Thanks Zach, this one was fun to make...I actually built the chassis last week and barely had the time to finish it...

Thanks for the comments guys...

Oohh , another awesome tuber from K9PoPo
and thanks for the reference for 3Racing Dark Impact shocks.
I found them on Fleabay, they're cheaper than I thought.

I wonder if R2J would stock them...

Man I can't wait for my FatDog...all these K9 versions always look so hot.

I still have some ideas...we'll see if I can get them working.

Also the 3 Racing brand is good, but by no means do they come close to a real Tamiya shock. Tamiya's shocks have been long known as the best, too bad they reflect that in their pricing.
