Default RCP Ax-10 Knuckles and MSD Beadlocks

Just a heads up. The inner beadlock ring on the MSD beadlocks makes contact with the RCP ax-10 knuckles. It's not that bad. I'm just going to take a little off the rings.

I think it would be easier to shave a little of the knuckle? No?
Not sure I dont have any MSD's.
How close is it anyway?

They touch. I don't want to weaken the knuckle, but it would be easier to take some metal off the knuckle.

Mine don't touch on the Aluminum new MSD's. Close though. I haven't drilled out the center hole for the aluminum hexes, so currently I'm using the "spare" plastic ones with that "tit" cut off. I left the small inner ring so I do have 1 step after the hex, but so does the Axial Aluminum ones. I did talk to RCP about my knuckles front edge appeared to be hand sanded/filed and I was informed it was for the stock Axial wheels and rings, which makes sense since the stock wheels and rings have more offset.

Pics of my scenario as it stands.

I'm using hexes that allow the wheel to sit flush against them.

I'd shave the knuckle more, I doubt it will weaken it much. If it does, and you bend them, we will replace them. We have made a change in that area of the knuckle. We didn't have any MSD wheels to check for clearance.

From what I can tell, all you'd need to do is chamfer that corner on the inside edge of the rings.

I'll give that a try. Thanks for standing by your products. One of my knuckles at the arm area has been ground down quite a bit to make room for the stock wheel clearance issue (not by me), significantly more than the other one. If that one snaps at that point, will it also be replaced?

The grinding when they are new was something RCP stepped up and did to get these out quickly. I talked to RCP about it and they said the stock wheels and the Knuckles had a small clearance issue and instead of sending them back and having us all wait they modded them in house.

I'm grateful they did. Sure it looks odd but works well (I have tried them now with the stock wheels too). I was also told if I had a problem with them let them know.

I can say RCP is a great company to deal with who cares enough to check parts before shipping. I know for a fact they'll be seeing a good deal more of my business.

I jst got my knuckles from RCP for the AX10 for my 1.9 scale build. The knucles will not clear any of my 1.9 wheels....i was hoping to use them for the build but I really dont want to have to modify them to fit .......so I have to use stock for now///james
