Default Heavy Duty Ring and Pinion gears...

I figured I would post this, I searched and didn't see anything about them posted...

I'm gonna pick up a Scorpion this week and test them out, so I will confirm they fit in a few days. The ring and pinions from the HPI Wheelie King are the same as the Scorpions (or they came from the same mold, lol) and the WK's are the same as the Nitro MT and MT2 which HPI offers HD ring and pinions for...

Kind of pricey but they were tough as nails in my Nitro MT!

The gears are very close, but the offset is a little different. You will have to do some possible modification to the axle housing as well as some shimming. We do offer heavy duty gears as well and they should be in stores soon.

This part includes both the ring and pinion bevel gears vs. having to buy them separately. (it is always recommended that you replace both at the same time and not individually)

Thanks,
Axial

No worries at this point if we see hop ups, axles, transmissions for the AX-10 before Xmas we'd be lucky.

Could just be "my" thinking BUT...
If I just spent a ton of $$$ putting the 1st complete crawler kit out on the market... I'd be holding off on selling the axles and tranny individually (knowing ppl want only those parts) to keep my Kit sales up as long as possible!?!?

Transmission sets and some option parts shipped out 2 weeks ago. The axle sets started shipping this week. The remaining option parts will be shipping next week.

Thanks,
Axial
