It is just killing me. The weather turned to crap just after I finished the build. As soon as I can get out I will. They have forecast rain for this weekend as well.

Got a chance to get out. Here is a link to Photo's and a couple of vid's
http://s231.photobucket.com/albums/e...0Creek%20Lake/

I will get more pic's and vid's at a better location. This place was not the best to crawl. Lot's of wind noise in the video.

I see your using 2/3 aa batteries...few questions, what MaH are they and what kind of run time are you getting?? do you think they are enough for your crawler? i.e. do they provide the right amount of current for hight torque servos and bl motor?? thanks

Damn nice build and Vid's. I was a bit worried during the vids that you might get a good gust and end up somewhere in Kansas

Nice rig Neil, you are one lucky sob to score such a nice deal!!

I believe your droop setup is a bit stiff, what is your shock/spring setup again??

1500 mA. Have only two charges on the batteries so far so they may not be peaking yet. Got about 30min. of continuous run the last outing. Do not seem to have an issue with current.

Yes it was windy. I need to weight the little bugger. It is heavy

I am using the inner springs supplied by RCP. I do not know what ratting they are. There is not a lot of articulation with this set up. Need to run in a comp to compare with other tubers.

Congrats ! Cool build.

Can you tell us what you think.

What do you think of the disconnect, built well?

Weight loaded ?

any added weight?

Pro's and Cons of Goat versus Mamba max ?

gear ratio

slop in axles an issue?

anyway to move the disconnect servo so it's hidden ?

uh I say those traxxas shafts are going to break

Did not work today, so spent the afternoon working on the Hustler.
Got the R2D installed. Ground the bottom of the plastic cover to fit. Counter sunk the holes to use flat head screw, Also needed to grind a little area to clear the lower link on that side. As suggested I will probably make a plastic skid plate for it.

Yep He Sure Did!!
