As of yet I can not make an objective comment on the Rubicon's. I have only been out with the rig once. The rocks were real hard on the rig. Way to many deep pockets to get hung up in. I have a couple of sets of different tires I am planning on testing. Will find a good spot to crawl and try to make a fare comparison. The R2D is working great with a React Radio and Spectrum receiver. Having no problem with it so far. |

The disconnect is working great. No problems at all. I have not got the weight of the rig yet. It is heavey. Only added weight are the alloy rims. Have never run a Mamba. Running stock gear ratio of the R2D No problem with the axles. Could move the servo to the plastic cover. The frame may get in the way. The shafts so far are fine. Flipped the rig over a couple of time by binding a tire in a crack and no breakage. Need to get more crawl time and abuse to make a fare assessment of my setup. Get the holidays behind us and the weather to cooperate and I will but some run time on it. Not even sure if I have the setup working right??? | |

Where did you get the internal springs for the shocks?

With a little squeezing you may be able to mount your dig servo a little lower. I made this mount and it works nicely. By the way. I love the body panels on your rig. Looks great! |
