haven't posted anything on here in awhile, thought i would share what mods i have done. i basically did my own stage 2 mods, four link with longer links up top, high clearenced the bottom links, also moved them inboard on the skid and axles, using losi yellow springs on front shocks and pinks on the rear. put the rubber spacer under the piston and used 3/8 piece of fuel tubing on the out side of the shock to limit flex. had a stadium truck body on it but at last weekends comp the tires kept catching the body and rolling me over. i just mounted a bug body on it and is much better now. here are some pics. ![]() |

i upgraded my rims to aluminum beadlocks, i can't believe how much nicer these rims are. nice and heavy no need to add weight, go together easy and hold the bead like no tommorow. also polished my lower links a little bling bling, here are a couple pics.thanks for looking gary. ![]() ![]() |

I was running those same aluminum beadlocks on my AX10 with the stock knuckles and busted 'em up real fast. I switched back to the AXIAL plastic beadlocks with the Masher 2000s and it works like a champ...I swapped the alum eadlocks to my SW3 with alum upgraded knuckles and axle housing and they are holding up there for now. Very nice rig by the way! |

Gary, I have my old Knuckles and C's if you run into any problems. I ran my stock plastic with those Alum beadlocks for some time without issue. |
