Alright so I finally mounted and comp cut the body. I'm going to RxCrawlers house tomorrow so I figured it was time to do it. I got a nice boat sided affect with the stock body posts. I kinda like it, for a body any way. On to some wheelin pics in the backyard testing facility. Also I borrowed the tires and rims from my 2.2 since they are a little more comp worthy.

Still running that align motor? Does the can spin on that one? I have some 2221 9 slot outrunners on the way to try out, the 2215 I had worked great with the Quark ESC. Lots o speed! Would be perfect for a scaler.

Sweet Jeff!! What does your wife think about it though? Will she be competing in SERCRC? Mudturd and TJS would be happy. |

I gave Jess the Axial sticker sheet I forgot I had and let her dress it up a bit. I put the scratches on it. | |

Man, I can't leave well enough alone. These last few mods realy put this truck over the top. I got rid of the lipo(didn't realy want her running them anyway) and busted up an 8 cell 2/3 pack and put them on my empty TSC delrin battery mounts. With all that extra amperage I figured I would throw in the huge TCS BM-16 brushless motor. With all my new found torque (as if the under amped crawlmaster wasn't already shreading driveshafts)I swaped in a 22 tooth pinion to get back my wheel speed. Now it feels like something I would drive. Works way better now. I was going to put in a KK revo dig slider but Jess said she didn't want dig. Oh well. I like this truck so much that I am going to build me one as well, with a little more upgraded parts.

Well..........I took her up to Franklin yesterday to run her truck on some nice big flowing rocks. Needless to say she has lost here brushless privilages. Lathe motor comming soon.

Sorry to see that, But thats what happened to mine also. Lost the front one too. Poor design using stock shocks. I made my own front and rear from 2mm carbon plate w/ a little more material around the mounting holes. Didn't get fancy w/ design. I shouldn't have a problem now, especially after replacing my shocks. |

All better. I put the stock 3 link on untill I get my aluminum plates from the Crawler Store. Also there is now a 75t lathe motor and a Duratrax esc with a nice smooth reverse engagement to help "Crash" out when she is driving.

are you sure she did that? Not jess. That looks like something you would do even with the brushless motors |
