Default AX-NN, NN-10, whatever you want to call it

so i needed a break from my 1.9 build and had an ....so grabbed a pair of NN plates i had laying around and threw them on my AX-10...i drilled a couple of extra holes for the skid(for stage 2 mod)...but other than that it bolted right up....i threw some maxx shocks with internal/external springs...i am liking that shock setup on most of my rigs now...

more pics later....had to throw this up for the mongoose

Were going to have to start a new section called "Indoor Flesh Courses"

Maybe even a whole new board?

what is the wheelbase? great idea using the NN plates. NN has always been a great handling and predictable chassis.

Default best laid plans

well i worked on it last night to get ready for the comp today. i put the stock shocks back on and tweaked it a little bit. get all my stuff ready to go this morning, walk outside...and my car got broken into last night. what did the lucky person get you ask....spektrum dx3 radio, and my sportwerks truggy hybrid. if anyone races 1/8 scale they know how expensive buggys and truggys are. mine was a sportwerks mayhem upgraded to turmoil pro and last week i converted to a short wheelbase truggy. i had a small mint in that damn thing...what is up with people nowadays...everybody wants something for nothing. anyway so im pissed at the world right now and i cant even hit the rocks for a few.

heres another pic of the AX-NN, seeing as tho i was kinda building for this comp and thats not gonna happen, i am probably gonna dissamble and use my x-trail proto i bought and never used.

the black and whites are here so i gotta go fook with these guys

on top of all this my flash isnt working on my camera....why did i get out of bed...

yep it sucks...some people dont know what its like to have to work for stuff for a living...

i hope the comp went okay today...it has been raining all day.

i think i am gonna keep the NN rails on it. i did some basement crawling and the setup seems to be killer. its got just under 3" of ground clearance and about 6" of articulation. i am going to put softer springs in the front....other than its buttery smooth. the black chrome wheels look nice with the carbon fiber. looks like my bruiser tuber gonna need new wheels.

thanks for looking guys.

It went pretty good for one of us with a Scorpion.

The raining on the other hand, and the freezing cold, well that wasn't so fun. Not as sucky as getting stuff stolen though.
