Arrow AX-10 Spec Class Build "Slammed Betty"

I wanted to compete and host a spec class for the AX-10, just like in Oregon, ORCRC. So here is my entry, following the spec class rules , posted by RBgerrish. " Slammed Betty " all came from vendors on RCC.

Ax-10 kit from rcp crawlers
mamba max esc from tammies
55t lathe from tammies
Losi springs from tammies
hi-tec 5995 TG from tammies
Custom 8 cell saddle packs from holmes hobbies
spektrum radio from tammies
castle bec from tammies
hackster inspired paint scheme

3 lbs 9 oz RTR

you guys know the rest, here are the pics, slammed, low cg and a few unseen tricks, enjoy.

You should have put the tie rod under the knuckles and the drag link above it.;)

Betty looks kinda of tired after getting slammed. But its a good look.
Youll love the RCP knuckles, great quality and they give a little more steering, now the straight axles adapters on the other hand..........

Got any more pics of the Chevy truck that Betty is laying on?

Eh.... it looks goofy all low like that Ben. Time to jack it up... if you make the December comp(?) it's going to be a wet one for sure.

hey Ben;

If you add RCP knuckles, does it still qualify for the spec class?

What problems have you found? I found with the stock axles the 1 bearing didn't support the axle stub enough and it ground some of the adapter. Since using their SS axle it is supported way better and no more aluminum grinding dust.

Looks like you have taken all the travel out of your shocks. How doe you get any articulation that way?? I have the spacers inside of mine, but I have alot more travel that yours.

That is my friend's chevy truck, it is in my shop right now getting a new trans and t-case. It is almost the same green as the axial, so I thought it would be funny to post it.

Shocks work great like this, has less up travel but pleanty of down travel, works very well and has pleanty of articulation for me.

thanks for all the kind words guys and K9 --------- Fawk You Too, Asshole
