Default center trans idea?

Well i was looking at my center trans and it looks to me like you can screw on a B4 or T4 aluminum back plate in place of the stock one ...I have a B4 and it looks like all the mounting holes will line right up...It almost looks as if they copied associateds stealth trans...If it did work then you can put a RPM gear cover on it and seal the gears from getting any debrese in them...

NOPE, won't work. Its close, but they are different. The diff gears are virtually the same, so you could use a Axial diff in it. But.....the whole Axial tranny is only 33 bucks! The diff bearings are different, so you would have to buy bearings as well. The Axial tranny is definitely not the same quality as the AE, but the Axial is more compact even if you had a locker for your AE.
