I'm VERY impressed with them. In stock form, they are a blast. Put 8 2/3a cells on the front axle,a 35t-45t motor with stock gearing and a 200 oz. servo for steering and you'll have a real capable rig thats fun to drive. If you ever decide to start running comps, you'll have a great head start.

Ditto as what raptorman stated. I run mine basicly stock(per ORCRC Spec rules) and it is very capable in box stock form. I run 8 cell 2/3 A pack and a 55 turn motor... about to upgrade to a 45 turn for a bit more wheel speed. It is VERY well built, easy to assemble and tough. It's an instant comp winner. Makes even the sucky drivers look good. |

They are well built and very rugged you can buy those packs from vendors on here or you can go lipo and run it in stock location.

The stock location is at the highest point, which is the only downfall to this truck. You basicly have to(Or really should) get some 2/3 A packs. I ran a 6-cell stick pack on top of the upper links in the front once and the space is limited. The 2/3 A packs run about $20-26 and Cheapbatterypacks.com already has the AX-10 options. The 6 cell pack starts at $19.50. Use the velcro straps included with the AX-10 and some small plastic dividers and make your trays. 5 minute mod and it's basicly free as long as you have a small devider and x4 8-10mm long screws. One charge of my 8-cell 2/3 A pack and the 55 turn motor setup in my AX-10 lasts about 30-35 minutes. | |

i have two..ran both in a couple of comps..one highly modified the other stock, for comparison...by far the ax-10 is awesome (after you move the battery) the truck can crawl out of the box but with a couple of mods WOW |
