i'll try to post some if i can find a nearby wifi spot near the lunch place. i still don't have an air card for my macbook. can't wait til the weekend - charging my battery packs right now.

jason 12-13-2007 11:35 PM

Got Zach's crawler all packed tightly, batteries charged the plane leaves the ground in 9 hours, and I still have 6 hours to work, guess no sleep tonight!

Buildinstuff 12-14-2007 12:39 AM

You wouldn't be sleepin even if you weren't workin, Jason. You would get drozy then see the band on your wrist and remember just what is coming up.

Shaun 12-14-2007 11:34 PM

Just crank the boy band music and you wont be tired.

Thanks to all that helped out with this project!

Today was a killer day for Zach. He had an awesome time, and loves the truck. I had a ton of fun too driving the different trucks and buggies around.........Looks like its time to break out the RC stuff and start playing again :D

This was an awesome thing for all you guys, gals and kids to do for my boy. I hope this will turn into something the family will enjoy together and bring some smiles and laughter to the kids. "thumbsup"

It was also great to meet some new people out here, as we are new to the area. Super nice guys on this side of the coast! Im sure ill be picking some brains pretty quick about components and such. But maybe ill build a chassis this winter :D

Thanks
Shane

Guys we had a blast today! Zach and Dillon had fun, Zach figured out how to drive the crawler pretty good by the end of the dad and I am sure him and Shane (dad) will be attending some of the local events here.

A major thanks to all the people here that helped us out with this project, we couldn't have done it without everybodies help.

For those wondering I know I set a goal for us of $4,000 which I thought was high, but reachable. No where in my mind did I have any idea that we could pull together and bring in over 3 times that amount!

Not bad for a bunch of guys that play with toy trucks;)

I have a bunch more pics, but we need to go eat some dinner, be back later.

Glad to help.

I'll be doing up a quad-cab duallie for Racer4life, with a dropped bed. He handed me the donor bodies at the comp today, right after I handed him his ass
