Default The Moxter goes AX10

finally I got some time to start mi 2.2 build, I've allready finished the 4mmCF custom chassis with nylon skid plate, I'll finish the axle assembly during the weekend. And yes, the chassis dimenssions are based on the Bender's chassis

Just bended the links and assembled front and rear tranny. Now it's time for the worst building step, I've to cut the wheel foams, I really hate this step

Looks nice man. Those bends in the links are unique.

Nice start, very clean machine work. Looks like your knukles are on wrong....the pinions should point up slightly in relation to the knuckles. Also upper links a little too short is not helping this.

you might wanna get rid of that stock upper link. I am using TCS high clearance links, and i used the stock lowers as my new uppers... if yo dont, when your suspension is at max droop you might have some pinion angle probss

When you bend your links like that you also shorten the wheelbase.

Personally, it is hard to rationalize wasting all the time to make new links (bent or strait) when you can buy them for 15 bucks.

Chassis looks great, nice job.

P.S. - "Bended" is not a word.

I should shorten the links because the chassis holes position is different than the stock chassis, and the wheel base was out of the rules. I've bend it just at the length I needed.

You are right Bended it's not a word

I allready realized that the upper links where to short but I couldn't wait to see how the car will look, I'll add a front cap to the upper links, I'll also have to change the shocks for longer ones. Tomorrow the car will be ready to go

Saul I've bend the links with an hydraulic press.

Happy Hollidays to you and everybody shreck, I'll have a week free starting the 29 wohoooooooooooo, it's snow time.

The project is finished, I've allready added upper links extensions and assembled my new rims and tires, The best part is that tires and rims are for free, as I've made a tech article for a Spanish rc magazine that shows how to prepare crawler wheels and they paid the bill.
