| How do you tell Sticky vs. Regular Lizards?
I bought two AX-10s. One 3 months ago, and another last week. How can I tell if the Rock Lizard tires are the "Sticky" ones, or the regular ones. Both sets feel the same to me. They're actually pretty soft... but not as soft as my Moabs. |

You have to taste them. The sticky is more sweet.

| Actually the stickies work pretty well. To answer the original question. It sounds like both sets of these tires came with the kit? If that is correct, then both of you sets are the regular ones. The stickies do not come with the kit. |

i thought the tires felt a little stickier too in my second axial kit. i think it was just wishful thinking. only difference i have noticed between my 2 kits is the hexes in the wheels. its like the hex is turned a few degrees. and a little more material was added.

I'll have to look at the wheels and see if they're different. The tires are both regular compounds, but I don't understand why everybody knocks these tires so bad. They're not bad at all. If you guys think the Rock Lizards suck, just wait til you see the Rock Stompers!! You're gonna have LOTS of paper weights. I have Lizards and Stompers side by side, and the regular Lizards are much much much much softer than the Stomers, which feel like 1:1 tire rubber. |

the stock Lizards that came with my brothers kit will crawl just as good as the mashers and the rock claws that i am running on my ax10. there is not nuch diff. I think it is all a matter if driving style. |
