Talking Newb Need some advice on AX10

hey guys, i`ve been lurking around here for a while now trying to gather as much information as i can before asking any dumb Q , i`m not new to RC (Revo, LST2, rc18mt and a couple of planes) but a total to newb to crawlers.

so i decided to get an AX10 Scorpion i just want to take different opinions on the setup i`m doing and potential problems i didnt notice, or what wont work together, and information that might help improve the setup. so here goes

-Scorpion AX10 kit + Stage 2 kit (from ckrc)
-MM ESC ( i can live with the 5V servo power)
-Axial Rear steering Kit
-2x 5645MG Servos
-2xOfna Servo Saver Heavy Duty http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...2&I=LXFNE8&P=K
-Integy 55T Lathe motor
-Apogee 3S 2200mAh Lipo
-Losi Rock Claws with star cut fomes
-2X RC4WD Upper 4 Links mounts (Front/Rear)
-Traxxas HD Drive shaft + Metal Yokes Kit from ckrc (as needed by the Stage 2 Kits)
-Spektrum AR6000 reciever (to Use with my DX7) Right:Throttle+Rear steer. Left: Front Steer.

ok guys hit with what u think , thanks in advance.

Sounds like a good list the only thing I would change and its really a personal pref. I would go for the memory foams in the tires. Some thing like the Ace's donuts from RCP

I say use the Rock Claws with the stock foams, don't star cut them. Narrow the front foam about 1/4" or so.

I dont run 2 servos but if I were you, with the money you have already spent, I would go ahead and spend the $20 for the Castle BEC, especially since your running 4ws.

No problem. ;) There small, light weight, cheap, and most of all, you will get the most out of your servos.
