Feedback on Ax tranny

The AX-10 tranny is very high quality. They make a great tranny for just about anything.

It probably will clear a 48p 87t spur.

~The tansmission is indeed compact so it will mount up easily in tight spots. All you need is four holes and a flat surface. Very simple.
~You can reverse the input shaft. So you can have the motor facing backwards, forwards and also on the left or right side of your chassis for better weight distribution.
~The only real problem I have had with this is compatibility. You can not run a fat driveshaft (Revo) with this tranny. It won't clear the spur unless you run a small one sacrificing gear reduction.
~If you have a wide skid plate you may incounter clearance issues with the driveshafts because the transmission is only about 1.5" from one end of the outputshaft to the other.

Newb here. It kinda sucks that I found just rightnow that revo shafts don't fit on AX-10 Trans. I ordered the revo shaft because I read here that the stock ax-10 driveshafts pops out very often. I've also read about the RC4WD adapter but I live in asia and it may take a long time and more money just to buy and ship myself those adapters. :-(

Are there any better alternative Driveshaft I can use for the AX-10 that doesn't pops-out as easy as the stock driveshaft. Something that would clear the spurgear of AX10 Trans? And something that doesn't cost above $25.00 if possible...

Do you happen to know the stock number for the Jato shafts? Is the Jato shaft beefier than the stock AX-10 driveshaft? How about the T/Emaxx shafts? Anyone tried those yet?

As far as beefy-er the stock plastic t/emaxx outdrive shafts are a bit beefy-er, I'm not surehow to mount them up though. I just got my AX-10 roller built, (god I love building kits, just does it for me... almost as much as running it. ) still sorting out the electronics and deciding on the important out of the box mods... I was talking with a couple different people that said there is a traxxas shaft setup that is the way to go. Apparently the Axial folks were running them on their rigs at the last rubicon comp. Anyone know details about that?
