Default Robb's "Brian Errea" Pro-Mod AX-10 Build

Rig will be "loosely" based on Brian Errea's 2006 TC Pro-Mod rig.......adapted to scale RC scenario of course.

Chassis:
Tube chassis throughout................which would throw out the "pro-mod" classification from the get-go, but I deal with tubing, not square frames.

Body:
Toyota FJ40..................I couldn't bring myself to chop up a NIP Proline FJ40 body, that I have, just to use what was left, so I will be hacking up a Bushwacker. I will be cutting off the stock Bushwacker grille/facia, and will fab a true FJ40 one out of styrene.

Suspension:
4-link front and rear droop

Axles:
AX-10 Scorpions

Transmission:
Ax-10 Scorpion

Wheels:
Junfac chrome beadlocks with 62PYRO rings to replicate 1:1 rig

Tires:
Losi Rock Claws

Electronics:
Unknown as of now

1st pic is of Errea's 2006 TC rig that I am looking at. Other pics are of where my rig stands of right now. The body will sit lower as I have to cut in the hood to fit the shock hoops, and the grille/facia needs to be chopped..................but you get the jist.

Nice, I need a side by side of the FJ and Bushwacker. I thought they would be identical besides markings and labels. Are you gunna paint it same way and such also?

the rc4wd rock stomper 1.9s might look great on this rig just the right size. I love mine it cool how they have a realistic width to there height. Those new rock crushers coming out will look even more like a crawler tire too and there the same size.

Is that like a little skull on the hood? Any more pics like head on of the real rig?
