Are those T-Maxx big bore shocks:?:. What springs are you using if any on the inside:?:.

Nice build. You may want to move the link mounts under the servo plates. Will help level out the top links and give you a little better articulation. Have you mounted a servo yet? I had to tweek up the front of the frame so the servo would not hit the frame when the shocks are at bottom.
Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing it finished.

I originally had my link mounts like that but they were aiming more down then being level. The way they sit now the are pretty level.

Any chance 10/32 Can fit?

Yes, but it would be tight. If the wall is .028 then the hole diameter would be .190 and the O.D. of a 10-32 screw is approx .188 More pics of Green Hornet please, that thing is sweet.

8/32 fills the tube up pretty full. Plus I don't know where you would find rod ends 10/32.

Hi,looks awsome the green is killer on that chassis design i was wondering what is your wb? what is the frame measurements? i am looking at building a tuber and not sure how big i should make the chassis and i want a 15-17" wb? thanks for any help

Red Rockcrawler 01-25-2008 09:33 PM

Wheel base is 12.5. I'm sorry but but if you want the measurements of the chassis you can spend $330 dollars and get one of them from here. http://www.rcpcrawlers.com/product.p...&cat=26&page=1

I didn't spend that much for one to give out the measurements so people can make a cheap copy.

Call me a asshole but your gonna find a hard time trying to get some measurements for a chassis that some vendors around here spend alot of time designing and testing .So people will give out the measurements to a chassis that they paid good money for.

I understand your new. I'm all about helping new people but letting them copy exact measurements of chassis that I payed alot for and others have paid for. I'm not going to do.

Well since I sold my comp chassis I need to finish this so I have a comp rig. I moved my r2d2 tranny over and servo.

I need to mount the electronics and do a few odds and end things but it will be a runner at the next comp.

Very nice build Red Rockcrawler. "thumbsup" I might try some of the links you made. I have been using the 6/32 all thread with stainless tubing. I think I will try it your way since the 8/32 fits the revo ends. "thumbsup" Again, Nice job.

Red Rockcrawler 02-02-2008 11:16 AM

Thanks the 8/32 just adds to the beef of the links and give's you bigger rod ends. Plus the titanium will help keep these strait and slide really well.

Jester666 02-02-2008 12:43 PM

looks awsome, nice job."thumbsup"

Red Rockcrawler 02-11-2008 10:59 PM

Well I got the last piece that I needed to finish my chassis off and finish the build be for my comp 2 weeks from now.

Thanks to a idea from miniwheeler and a local guy that can work with it and MTHead for the material.

Titanium skid plate.
