Default Needing angled rod ends

I'm putting 4 wheel steering on 2 Scorpions. Is there a cheaper alternative for the slightly bent rod ends that go on the longest steering rod, besides buying 2 of the AX80005 linkage set parts trees? This is over $12 for just needing the 2 bent rod ends on each parts tree. I have plenty of the straight short ones left over from the kit build.

Axial:
Is there any other way to get the angled steering rod ends other buying the whole 80005 parts tree?

Unfortunately those are the only way to get the links at this time. However we do offer a rear steer kit that has all the components you need to convert your crawler to 4 wheel steering.

The part number is AX30492 and can be purchased from any of the online vendors.

Thanks,
Axial

Why don't you make your own links and put a bend in the links? ...I have no idea if that will work cause I don't have rear steer...but it does in my head :p

check out "over the top"thread..used revo front turnbuckle(pn 5143)which is 5 1/2" c-c ...slight bend about 3/8" in the middle should be enough clearance try to use inner holes on knuckle (breaks there if using outers

If you're dead set on an angled rod end. I have had luck with using a Jato end. Thread in your link material, heat up the rod end a bit in the center of the shank as far away from the pivot ball as you can, and just bend it a bit. The shanks on those Jato ends are somewhat longer, so there's room...but the Jato's are large ends. I have also just bent the rods themselves also.
