Default Beth's Bug

I wanted to get my 9 year old daughter Bethan involved in my hobby, So I built her an AX10 Scorpion.
I made my own version of CKRC's conversion kit,
45t lathe,
Mtroniks viper ssr,
my own battery packs,
losi rock claws,
losi springs (yellow) on front, stampede rears,
I cannot take credit for the painting of the shell though,
As you can see I have not let her use it yet

Wow, that Ax looks great. Real nice job. You did a clean job on moving the lower links inside. Looks factory. Cool idea on the antenna too.

what did you use to cut the skidplate. it looks way cleaner than the ckrc build photos.

your lower links are spaced further apart at the axle side than ckrc's stage two. also, did you extend your upper links

One advantage of working next door to a machine shop, Andy very kindly milled the skid for me

Nice clean build.

Great detail as well.

It is amazing how much kids love crawlers, not everything has to do 60mph to be fun

Thumbs up

Looks very nice. I also did my own version of the CKRC mods. It came out well. Keep up the nice work.

I noticed that too. Being a machinist...and a picky one....I thought maybe they could have done some deburr work. Sweet paint on the Bug ! And good for you for including the daughter ! My 9 year old girl loves to drive my AX ! We take turns driving and "spotting" for each other and have a great time.
