Default Shock building question

I am building the shocks of my new scorpion, but I cannot figure out where the shock damper (axa1358, step 10 in the manual) is. Is it metal? Is it plastic? Is it unobtainium??

Where do I find this little goody??

Situation avoided. They are made of rubber and are in the bag with the shock springs that I had previously overlooked.

Thanks for your help.

Are you suggesting this is a bad thing to do?

If ya read around...you will learn the many improved charactaristics of doing this

Front page RCC CKRC axial build does it and quite a few Spec class drivers stick that spacer in there too. Drops the ride height, COG and takes a little bit of torque twist out too.

Toss the stock shocks and go with the Traxxas big bores. The stock shocks are way to long. Once you put the shocks on get some losi white springs for the front and get a losi pink and put on the back right side and keep the stock traxxas big bore spring on the back left. This will help you COG, lower your rig, and help with the torque twist.
