AX10 w/ Crowd Pleazer Body

This is only the third RC body I have ever painted. I wanted to try a two color theme this time, but while trying to put down the masking tape I just couldn't get it to look good enough to suit me. It is all green with tinted windows and pearl white backing and on the bed. Are you guys sure I should paint and then trim? I sure had a lot of trouble and scratched the paint off in a few places. Also, I guess I didn’t wash the truck good enough in some of the tight corners. The green didn’t stick to well. Any way, here is my basically stock truck with a body I haven’t seen on it yet. I now know why, I'm still not done trimming. I may order a Losi grappler soon if it take less trim work.

I don't know why some guys paint first....I always trim first then paint.....when washing the body i just use a little liquid hand soap and use my finger to get all the corners,rinse real good and the dry it with an air hose...never had a problem. Your paint looks good in the pics...i like that color.I'm the same way when it comes to masking tape,if its not a strait line then forget it,i don't have the patience...LOL..I just figure it's gonna get scratched up anyways ,why spend a lot of time and effort in the paint.

I always do body hole's, trim then paint.

That a Revo sized body isnt it??

I did one of those body's from I think a Jato awhile back.

nice crowd pleazer im a big fan of those bodies on monster trucks ,used them alot on my t-maxxx .parma makes some really cool paint masks that are really easy to work with

you peel them of the page and stick them where ever you like ,use a hair dryer to form them to curves if you have to and if your careful you can peel them off and move them around a few times till you get them just where you like them.you can also get a blank sheet of mask and make your own designs.
