Are you running your no esc? Does the battery plug right to the motor? Oh and your motor wires are pretty.

Running a 55 turn lathe too.

I'll never change.......well......until I receive my new goat system. HOwever, I have a feeling I'll be back to brushed soon after.

Wait until you run the goat esc with a 55t lathe... The BEC on that esc is incredible too

I'm really pleased with my Rooster Crawler Edition ESC running 55T lathes, smooth, no spastic jerking, good low speed control, reliable BEC, zero complaints. Good bang for the buck.

Actually, the real answer is "yes"....I plug my battery right into the motor. It's the new way we are all doing it. That was great advice. Thanks.

I have to agree- I did the same mods, knowing next to nothing and brought it out to a scale comp- I didn't compete, but my near stock AX preformed better than I ever thought it would next to some $1500 rigs- the only thing I've changed since then is to get some Claws!

The AX really does rock!

Trying out a new chassis. Putting it up directly against the Bender SW3. The SW3 has always been the best 2.2 chassis available so I'm anxious to see how the Black Jack compares! So far, it looks really cool. Very low and compact. We'll see next weekend.
