Default My "Edge"

Well I got mine completed this morning, still some tweaking to do, got to raise the ride height a little, took it to a rock quarry close by, (forgot to take the camera) but, it did very well, here's the specs of the "Edge"
TCS Edge chassis
TCS bent links
TCS internal springs
TCS Aluminum Upper link/servo mount
TCS Aluminum boomerang upper link (rear)
TCS aluminum axle plates
RC4WD 2.2 beadlocks
RC4WD Aluminum knuckles
RC4WD Aluminum c-hubs (front only)
TCS 6 cell split battery
Novak Goat Crawler ESC and motor combo
RC4WD rod ends (on shocks)
Hitec 5645MG servo
Deans Plugs
Mudslinger tires (upgrading to Losi Claws soon)
starcut foams
Futaba R603FS 2.4Ghz rx (run in HRS mode)
Futaba 3PKS tx
Modded plate to hold ESC
and plate on rear to hold rx
going to get the green off eventually and have them anodized blue to match the rest, this has been a fun build and went together very well, now to complete my Super Hustler.......
Ride height is at 2 5/8"
WB is exactly 12.5"

Not sure on the springs, they came with the X-Trail hardware kit from TCS, but they give fairly easy, using 60wt. oil. I may go to another short spring on top and put in an internal spacer to raise the ride height a little (to get the links parallel to the ground), but after just one run this morning it did OK, only hung up a couple of times, search Kamikaze's thread, he's got some good info on this and search "droop" tons of info there, Peace

They did OK, but, want to try something different, didn't seem like they had a lot of bite, course the rocks were wet this morning and I never ran the lizards that came with the kit, I've read in other post they were made for a scale look and not so much comp use, but, others here have said they like them alot, I have the foams star cut, may need to add some weight to the wheels, may try the kreepy foams, Peace
