Thanks for the information everyone, I plan on testing against a stock scorpion this weekend! What do you all think about moving the shocks about 8-10mm inward or center? Would solve the clearance issue.

Default Testing

Well I did about an hour of crawling with my truck and WOW, what a difference. I started out about 50/50 on the shocks. I cut the spring in half and ran 30 weight oil. The truck in tight radius had a lot of torque twist. I than went 90% droop and put about 10mm of 1/4" tubing up top. This took alot of twist out of the chassis. I drove the edge for about 20 minutes and then I switched to the stock truck, and it was a night and day difference. I feel with a few shock tweaks and bringing the links higher in the rear will make this truck comp worthy. I really hope they legalize this chassis, just simply for the fact a guy can afford to build a tuber!

With the bent links this thing has a low center of gravity!

Well after a few weeks of testing, I realized my stock shock set up had to go. I added the integy aluminum shocks and that alone made a world of difference. I also added weight to the front with 6 oz of air soft pellots. I also cut some custom panels out of diamond plate. I have not mounted them with anything but zip ties. Im working on getting some chrome plated nuts to cover the truck.

In the works:
Custom Xtreme Crawl diamond plated bead locks!

Diamond plate servo plates

All green will be gone soon. Links will be aluminum.

the beadlocks are awesome. have you thought about running the integy shocks upside down? also are you fully sprung with the integys? looks pretty tall. i liked the low look with the stock shocks.

I haven't thought about that. What exactly would that do? Would that just make the center of gravity lower? The truck is fully sprung with 30 wt oil. The truck sits higher now but seems to have a smoother articulation! Any help or advise would be much appreciated!

I don't understand how putting the shock spacers inside the shock, above the piston will change the height compared to when the spacers are outside the shock, when using a droop configuration. Can you please explain?

It doesn't, but when your truck is sitting on the spacer outside the shock it will force it over the rod end and your truck will be even lower.........

Theres always a reason for everything.

I use to run my super in comps that way and never had a problem, I ran my 2.2 comp last year until I striped my servo.
